April 5 Lindstrom Fire dispatched to Shogren Apartments for smoke.  Incident reported about 11:50 a.m. Cause was food burnt in lower level apartment, firefighters ventilated the space.

April 4 1:30 p.m. truck fire, engulfed, at RV park address on Clover Trail, Rush City Fire took care of call. Nobody hurt. 

About 4:30 p.m. damage to vehicle parked in lot at Lindstrom Muni. Suspect vehicle then left westbound on highway and was followed by a sheriff patrol squad who had observed poor driving behavior and suspect vehicle did not pull over when siren activated. Ended at address in Chisago City and 51 year old male was detained on suspicion of driving under influence.

A scam by telephone was reported to Lakes Area Police. The caller said to complainant  they needed bank account and related information to send a “refund” for an overpayment on a utility bill.  Do not provide confidential financial details over the phone if you did not initiate the conversation.

Three traffic stops reported for tint on vehicle windows that was too dark.
