Karen Stendahl Pavlisich, aged 73, passed away on July 30, 2024, in Tucson, AZ. Born on February 27, 1951, in St. Paul, MN. Karen was a resilient fighter throughout her life, courageously battling cancer for 40 years and enduring numerous surgeries. Despite her health challenges, she remained loving, caring, and kind. Karen found joy in her crocheting, ceramics, mandala coloring, and activities that allowed her to showcase her creativity. Karen was also known for her love of music, being especially fond of Elvis. She was fondly known for her Elvis themed golf cart at her community in Arizona.
Karen graduated from Chisago High School in 1969, marking the beginning of a journey filled with perseverance and grace. Her life was enriched by her 36 years of marriage to Richard Pavlisich and her role as a stepmother to Amber Pavlisich. She also shared a deep bond with her brothers Dennis (Jacquie), Rob (Carol), Gary (Karen), and Randy (Kris), along with very special niece Jessica, and many other nieces and nephews who will all miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her father, Carlton L Stendahl, her mother Elaine A Brehm Stendahl, her grandparents, and many beloved aunts and uncles.
A celebration of life will be held in the future to honor Karen’s enduring spirit and legacy. Contributions will serve as a lasting tribute to Karen’s life and the love she shared with those around her.
