All week, prohibited on-street overnight parking continued to be observed. 

Warning tickets are being handed out for first time offenders, but if you get a warning and opt to repeat the overnight parking behavior, you will be fined.

November 29

Deputies began to pull over a vehicle with expired plates and a pursuit ensued. The initial traffic stop began at Rush Point Road and Evergreen about 10:15 a.m.  The vehicle was eventually stopped at Stark Road and Cedarcrest where it crashed.  After the driver was checked out at the emergency department at Fairview in Wyoming he was detained. A handgun either was tossed or fell in the crash and was recovered and its serial number had been removed. The driver was arrested on a charge of driving after revocation.

November 28

A female was being treated for a positive test on carbon monoxide poisoning at the hospital in Wyoming, and Lakes Area Police were notified a second person remained at the address, on Olinda Trail in Lindstrom. Upon checking the subject, aided by EMS, he appeared to be unaffected. 

November 27

A lock was cut and access gained to a storage unit at the self-storage complex on Lake Lane, Lindstrom. Police are investigating unidentified loss.

November 25

A house fire reported in Nessel Township at Autumn Court. Two people and dogs at the residence were outside and fine when Rush City firefighters arrived around noon. The fire started in an attached garage and spread to the house.

A two car crash was reported at Irene and Highway 8 in Lindstrom, by the middle school, about 7:20 a.m.  Both drivers were taken to St. Croix Hospital.  The one car turned out of Irene to go onto the highway and collided with a westbound vehicle.  The State Patrol is writing the incident.
