Chisago Lakes 7, Marshall 1

Six different players scored goals as the Wildcat boys’ hockey team crushed the Marshall Tigers 7-1 on Tuesday, November 26 at Chisago Lakes Arena.  The Wildcats dominated from start to finish, outshooting the Tigers 39-9 for the game.

Landon Kerkow notched two goals for the Wildcats.  Scoring once each were Alex Bever, Max Bobrowski, Landon Kerkow, Lucas Ide, Max Koch, and Jacob Kletti.  Playmakers Bobrowski and Ben Kerkow had three assists each.  Colton Whiterabbit, Bever, Landon Kerkow, and Austin Slettom notched one assist apiece.  Koch had 19 assists last year, but no goals.  His goal in this game was his first career goal.  Kletti’s goal was his first carer varsity goal, and Whiterabbit’s assist was his first career varsity point.

Hockey Hullaballoo

The Wildcats (1-0-1) will host the Monticello Moose in a Mississippi 8 Conference clash tonight at 7 p.m. at Chisago Lakes Arena.  The Wildcats finished second to the first-place Moose in Mississippi 8 Conference play last season.  And on Tuesday, December 10, the Wildcats will welcome the Pine City Dragons to Lindstrom for a 7 p.m. matchup of local rivals.
