Lou spent the majority of his career in merchandising with Target Corporation, where he was known for his hard work, dedication, and the deep connections he formed with colleagues throughout the years. His passion for his work was matched only by his love for life outside the office. An avid outdoorsman, Lou found peace and joy in the outdoors. He cherished every moment spent hunting, fishing, and gathering with his sons and friends at the “Shack” in northern Minnesota, a place that brought him immense joy and countless memories. Whether on a quiet fishing trip or sharing (the same) stories around the dinner table, Lou’s spirit always shone brightly with his friends in the great outdoors.
Above all, Lou will be remembered for his extraordinary ability to make and keep friends wherever he went. His warm smile, quick wit, and genuine kindness made him the life of every gathering. Though Lou has left this world, his memory will continue to inspire all who knew him. He touched many lives with his smile, his love for adventure or travel, and his boundless enthusiasm for life.
Visitation will be at 10a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Monday, December 30, 2024 at St. Bridget of Sweden Catholic Church in Lindstrom, MN, where friends and family are invited to gather in honor of a man who made every moment count.
His children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren will also remember his special greetings, funny quips and sound advice. While there were many to choose from, we picked a favorite, “If you can’t be good, be fast.”
Rest in peace, Dad. You will be forever missed.
