Friday, February 2 reports of an individual tipping trash cans, yelling and banging on residential doors a little after midnight. Subject was located, detained and brought in by deputies, Lakes Area and Wyoming Police personnel in the area of Forest Boulevard and 314th Street.

A woman, 57,  was cited for failing to yield connected to a two-vehicle crash at Highway 8 and Green Lake Trail, reported at 5:30 p.m.  Nobody was hurt.

Dog on dog bite reported at an address on Berglund Avenue in Chisago City. Puncture wounds were visible on the injured dog.  Lakes Area Police are handling.

Over the week there were five reports of school bus-stop-arm violations and four people were ticketed after follow-up.  Offenses were in Chisago City, in Lindstrom and one in rural Lindstrom on County Road 14.

Vaping devices were keeping officials busy at the Chisago Lakes Middle School. Two students were cited for possession, one was selling a vape pen and another student was purchasing for a total of four violations.

January 31 An Xcel power pole damaged by a passenger car which went off the roadway and into a ditch and over a driveway approach before striking the pole, in front of 7597 Lent Trail.  Scene found about 8 a.m. no details on time of actual crash, but driver thought to have experienced a medical mishap.

A woman was arrested with cooperation by Lakes Area Police after her vehicle was traced by description as involved in a theft incident in North Branch.
