With Brink's bell ringers' help, Salvation Army has a big year in Chisago City
In a year that saw many Salvation Army bucket donations decrease, the one located at Brink’s Market saw a major increase. The Chisago Lakes Lions and a few other generous people volunteered as bell ringers, and raised over $22,000 this year. Brink’s owner Andy Brink attributes this to the station always being staffed with a friendly bell-ringer face. Pictured are a few of the many Lions who rang this year: L-R: Gary Gerke, Irv Lecy, Fred Prindle and Andy Brink. They also wanted to mention Lion Linda Bartlett who volunteered a lot of time ringing this season.
