Kathleen Mae Meyers (Wagner), 77, of Lindstrom, MN, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family, on January 12, 2024, at 11:52 p.m.
Kathleen was born on September 5th, 1946, to William and Audrey Wagner at their home in Saint Paul, Minnesota. She attended Stillwater High School, where she explored her passion for horseback riding and art. Kathleen started the first chapter of the Valley-Hi-Riders Saddle Club of Lake Elmo and was responsible for the artwork that produced the first logo for the club. She was also responsible for the artwork that inspired the mascot for the Stillwater Ponies. She graduated in 1963 and after some years, found joy as a singer in a band and captivated her audience with her effortless ability to belt out vocals inspired by her favorite songstress, Janis Joplin. Kathleen later went on to pursue her passion for having a family, and then attended Minneapolis Institute of Art.
Kathleen especially enjoyed spending time with her mother Audrey, her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She had an eye for cool eclectic art and enjoyed thrift shopping with her sister to find it. Kathleen enjoyed gardening, sitting in the sunshine, listening to the birds, and was especially fond of British Television.
Kathleen is preceded in death by William Wagner (father) Audrey Wagner (mother) Suzanne Sindelar (sister) William Charles Wagner (brother) Edward Sindelar (nephew) Audra Sindelar (niece) Brian Nelson (nephew).
