January 12 a Chisago Lakes Middle School teacher alleged a student assault them. Lakes Area investigators are looking into and juvenile was taken into custody.

Two reports of credit card fraud tied to business in Chisago City where both cards were recently legitimately used by the cardholders. Police are looking into.

January 11 A 68 year old female cited for bus stop arm violation, took place on North Avenue in Chisago City.  No injury to student.

January 9 Lindstrom firefighters sent to check on a fire inside a building at North Meadow Curve, about 9:50 p.m.  Battery charger was cause, and property owner had fire out.

Local authorities are still writing tickets for using cellphones while operating a vehicle.  Minnesota has a hands-free cellphone law meaning you must not be holding a cellphone while your hands are on a steering wheel.
