Scott Roush
It is with incredibly heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected loss of Scott Glenden Roush, age 44. Scott, a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and godfather passed away on June 6, 2024. He was born in Chisago City, MN to Doug and Sharon (Berglund) Roush. Scott attended Chisago Lakes High School, graduating in 1998.
Scott was loved by many, and made friends with anyone he crossed paths with. He had a wonderful sense of humor, an infectious laugh, and could quote any movie with ease. He was the life of the party, thriving in any social setting he found himself! He loved music and playing the guitar (he was self-taught!). He was an avid outdoorsman, and loved to go fishing and hunting with his kids. He loved cooking and traveling with his family. Scott had a competitive spirit and loved to play pickleball and board games competitively!
Above all else, Scott was a family man that fiercely loved his wife and children. He was a cherished coach for his children’s hockey and lacrosse teams for many years, coaching in the Chisago Lakes and Onalaska, WI hockey associations. He proudly supported his kids in all of their activities. Scott and Amy were married for 17 years and were friends for 30 years.
Scott worked at Century Fence Company, in LaCrosse WI. He was a dedicated employee, and his contributions will be felt for years to come. He will be profoundly missed by his coworkers.
Scott is preceded in death by his brother, Ryan Roush, his grandparents Glenden and Dorothy Berglund, and Dewey and Loretta Roush, his uncle Richard Roush, and his aunts Patty Roush and Judy Nelson.
He is survived by his loving wife, Amy Roush (Yuronich), their 3 children, Evan (13), William (12), and Maxine (8), his parents Doug and Sharon Roush, brother Nathan (Mary) Roush, brother-in-law Nate Yuronich, and many nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins.
Scott will be forever loved and missed by countless family and friends. His kind and loving spirit will live on through his wife and children, and in the memories of anyone who had the pleasure to know him.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Scott Thursday, June 13, from 5-8pm at the Chisago Lake Town Hall, 12400 316th St, Lindstrom, MN 55045.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial gift to the Go Fund Me page set up for Amy and the kids. Scott was the main provider for his family. Link to donate: https://gofund.me/d6dc3524
