Bernard Thomas Waddick, 81 years of age, passed away on May 8, 2024 at the VA hospital in Minneapolis.

Bernie was born April 2, 1943 to Bernard and Sophia Waddick in Minneapolis. He was the oldest of 9 children. He was preceded in his death by six of his siblings.

Right after he graduated school Bernie enlisted in the Navy. He shared many fond memories of his time in the Navy.

Bernie married the late Joyce Waddick (Kerr) on July 2, 1967. They had two children.

Bernie retired in 2009 after many years of owning successful restaurants. He met many great people in the restaurant business. Anywhere he went he knew somebody who loved and respected him.

Bernie is survived by his loving wife Maxine, his two daughters Becky Loeffelholz (Gary) and Richelle Caudill (John), four grandchildren, Reno (Jenna), Kyle, Denny and Caitlyn, Maxine’s children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as other family members and numerous friends.

There will be a memorial luncheon for those who wish to pay their respects from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the fellowship hall of the Peace Lutheran Church 2355 Clark Road, Dresser WI 54009 on July 6, 2024 following the private graveside service.
