Congressman Stauber to be joined by Wyoming Congresswoman Harriet Hageman During Upcoming Gray Wolf Listening Session

On Monday, March 18, Congressman Pete Stauber (MN-08) will host a gray wolf listening session in Forest Lake along with Congresswoman Harriet Hageman (Wyoming-at-large). This event will be open to the public. Stauber has invited Congresswoman Hageman to co-host this listening session because of her extensive legal background pursuing litigation relating to the Endangered Species Act (ESA).

As a lawyer, Congresswoman Hageman represented groups who sought to remove protections for the gray wolf in Wyoming under the ESA and allow the state to enact a managed hunt. In Wyoming, gray wolves were removed from the endangered species list in 2017 and management of the species is led by the state.

WHO: Congressman Pete Stauber and Congresswoman Harriet Hageman
WHAT: Public Gray Wolf Listening Session
WHERE: Lakes International Language Academy, 19850 Fenway Ave. N, Forest Lake, MN
WHEN: Monday, March 18th, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM

Following remarks from Stauber and Hageman about their respective efforts to federally delist the gray wolf and enact responsible wolf management, the floor will open up for questions and comments from the public.

Space for this event is limited, so if you are a member of the press planning to attend, please RSVP to [email protected]
