Special Election Candidate Forum
Thursday, April 4th, 2024
6:00 p.m. at Lent Town Hall
33155 Hemingway Avenue, Stacy

The purpose of the Candidate Forum is to give the newly combined City of Stacy voters an educational opportunity to hear candidates discuss the issues of importance to them in this election. The event is free and open to the public, and will be available for remote viewing via Webex. The candidates will answer written questions from the public during this moderated event. Members of the League of Women Voters (LWV) will moderate the forum, following the nonpartisan, unbiased and impartial format established by the League of Women Voters Minnesota. The League does not endorse political parties or candidates for public office.

Written questions will be accepted in person at Stacy City Hall (30955 Forest Blvd.), via website submission to www.stacymn.org, or via email at [email protected] until 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3, 2024. The questions submitted will be forwarded to the LWV moderator by City staff. LWV reserves the right to screen questions. Not all questions will be asked, and some may be reworded to ensure neutrality.
