East Metro teams no match for Wildcat girls lax
Chisago Lakes 13, Totino Grace 4
The Wildcats kept their perfect season intact with two more resounding wins over East Metro teams last week. Fresh off their win over Blaine, the girls took on Totino-Grace at home and walloped the Eagles.
Camryn Hinsch and Linnea Carlson each had a hat trick for the Wildcats, and Lauren Schmidt and Katelyn Anderson each added a pair of goals as well. Those four led the offensive charge, with Kamryn Peterson, Olivia Rambosek and Naomi Eaton also getting on the score sheet. Hinsch, Eaton and RaeAnn Goehring each had two assists as well.
Laura Carson was stout in net, allowing only four goals on 10 shots for the ‘Cats as they won their seventh game in a row to start the year.

The Mustangs came into their contest against Chisago Lakes on Monday, May 6 with a .500 record, but the ‘Cats sent them below that line with a resounding 10 goal win at 13-3.
The offensive output was nearly a carbon copy of the Totino-Grace game. Hinsch and Carlson again each had a hat trick for Chisago Lakes, and Schmidt also chipped in two goals. But, in this one, Peterson had two scores, and Evi Reedy, Alyson Vogelsang and Hailey Sandberg each had a goal. Eaton had three helpers in the game for CL.
Laura Carlson had an even better game in net, allowing just the three Mustang tallies on 10 shots to earn her eighth win of the season for the ‘Cats.
Chisago Lakes continues their non-conference schedule this week with a match up against Anoka on Saturday, May 11 and an away game against St. Croix Prep on Wednesday, May 15.
