Chisago Lakes saw their season end in the section semifinals last week when they ran into the buzzsaw that is Mahtomedi volleyball.

The Zepyhrs, who are the top seed and are 24-4 on the year, had a tough first set with the Wildcats, but they came out on top 25-22.

In the second and third set, Chisago Lakes was blitzed by the Zephyrs, as they won 25-9 and 25-14 to finish the sweep and end the ‘Cats season.

The loss gave CL a final record of 11-18.
