Maribeth (Nelson) Hultman, age 74, of Shoreview, MN passed away unexpectedly November 7,  2024, with family by her side.

Maribeth was born in St. Paul, MN to Clarence and Beth Nelson . The family moved to Chisago City when she was two years old and she grew up on the family farm. She graduated from Chisago City High School in 1968. The mascot at that time was the Indians and Maribeth was the homecoming queen! After high school she went to St. Cloud University and earned a degree in Sociology.

She began working with the city of St. Paul and retired after a 44 year career!

Maribeth married Ron Hultman and they raised their two children, Eric and Niki in Shoreview.

Maribeth is survived by husband Ron, son Eric (Bridget), daughter Niki and granddaughters Brinn and Emma, sisters Kathleen Menard (Rus), Margaret Murphy (Bob), brothers Terry Nelson (Lee) and John Nelson (Michelle), and many nieces and nephews.

Maribeth loved reading, water aerobics, playing the cello,traveling and all of her friendships!

Maribeth was known in her family for being a wonderful hostess and for her sense of fun. She had an easy laugh and we all loved to be around her. There will never be another Maribeth!
