Members of the American Chemical Society have been known to tour metro-area libraries holding workshops giving youth a hands-on experience with principles of chemistry. Last weekend the Wyoming Giese Memorial Library Community Room was packed with curious kids. Wyoming resident Linda Nanko Yeager, a chemist with ACS, arranges for the free sessions here periodically. These events are sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
