CHISAGO COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION
PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

The Chisago County Planning Commission will meet on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. in the County Board Room at the Chisago County Government Center, 313 N. Main Street, Center City, MN. The Commission’s tour of the agenda item(s) has been scheduled for Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at 9:00 a.m., departing from Chisago County Public Works at 31325 Oasis Road, Center City, MN. The Chisago County Board of Commissioners will receive the Planning Commission’s recommendations and review applications on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. The meetings and tour are open to the public.

The following items will be included on the December 5, 2024, Planning Commission agenda:

Public Hearings:

Garrett Kerkow – Property owner Garrett Kerkow is requesting an after-the-fact Conditional Use Permit for Major Home Occupation. The proposed business, known as Kerkow Barrel Horses, LLC, will offer horse training and boarding services. The 5± acre subject site is zoned Agricultural (AG) District and located at 19239 310th Street / CSAH 37 in Shafer Township, S33, T34, R19 (PID 08.00330.10).
