Report of theft of copper from a Lindstrom property, surveillance video is being reviewed.

A van window was broken and theft of tools and materials inside reported. Incident at a business in Lindstrom probably happened overnight.

October 10

Report of a serious crash on Forest Boulevard, when a southbound vehicle possibly crossed the center line and collided with a northbound vehicle.  State Patrol is working on reconstruction of the scene and #30 was tied up while accident evidence and measurements were gathered. No details available on injuries, two persons were transported one to Regions and one to HCMC. Reported at 8:15 p.m.

There was a transformer leak at the Chisago Lakes Area Library property and the state duty officer was called for clean-up, due to possible contamination. Incident happened at 4:39 p.m.  It is estimated that five gallons of oil leaked.

Local authorities were notified of a bomb threat at Chisago Lakes High School, uttered by a student around noontime. Upon investigation no imminent danger was found and the student was cited for disorderly conduct.

A hunting bow was found and turned into the Lakes Area Police. The bow and case may have slid out of a pickup truck bed and were on the side of Lofton Avenue, Chisago City.

A theft of a student’s purse reported at Chisago Lakes High School.

Paver blocks were missing from Lindstrom’s Town & Country Park and were located at a private property not far away, being used to make a fire pit. Public Works relocated them back to the park

Multiple thefts of political campaign signs reported to Lakes Area Police from properties, in both Chisago and Lindstrom.
