More reports came through on storm activity last week keeping Lakes Area emergency authorities busy.
There were multiple trees down mostly north of Lindstrom at Karmel, County Road 14, Kost Trail Ivywood, etc. A vehicle drove into a tree that fell about 1 a.m. at Kost Trail and #14. No injury to the driver.
A lightning strike set a detached garage on fire on Kent Avenue, and Chisago and Lindstrom fire fighters contained it to the one structure.
There also were a couple of carbon monoxide detector call-outs. One about 6 p.m. on Neal Avenue, August 27 and one on Shoreline Court about 5:50 p.m. August 26. No injury in either case. Xcel was notified.
Monday, Labor Day, a medical emergency dispatched responders to Grand Avenue and Highway 8 about 4:15 p.m. in Center City. No details on the incident were available.
