Multiple tickets issued for vehicle violations in a Towards Zero Deaths law enforcement  saturation on I-35 in the Rush City area over last week.

Electric power was impacted July 28 and 29 due to fallen trees on power lines south of Chisago City... locations of concern were reported on Jonquil Drive, John Trail and Green Lake Trail/Jason Avenue.

Lakes Area Police dispatched a sickly raccoon in the Kent Avenue neighborhood July 30

July 31 a yelling incident between two adults in a Lindstrom business about noon led to an officer being called. There was an order for protection violation determined and an arrest was made.

Also July 31 an electric scooter struck a vehicle waiting to make a turn at Lake Boulevard and Maple Street. Nobody was urt. Incident happened around 8:30 p.m.

August 2 an equipment/implement fire was reported at an address on Harder Avenue about 11 a.m.  None of the farm employees were hurt.

August 3 a crash reported on Ferry Road, Sunrise, about 5:50 p.m. One passenger was airlifted and the driver was taken by ground transport for medical care. The two had been tubing and the report says they acknowledged having some alcohol. The car went off the road on a curve at a high rate of speed and struck a tree.

August 3 a chair on the roadside in Shafer at Redwing and 302nd was lit on fire and Shafer Fire Department extinguished it about 2:10 a.m.
