August 17 deputies were sent to an address on Kost Trail, Sunrise, on a report of a gun pointed at a subject and who the subject was afraid of. The call was at 1:17 a.m.  Authorities found a female in a car, parked outside the address. An arrest was made and gun was recovered. No injuries reported and charges of felony threats of violence are pending.

A deputy on patrol hit a vehicle that ran through a stop sign at Forest Blvd and Elm in North Branch, about 10:20 p.m.  Driver was arrested for DUI following field tests.

Lakes Area Police were sent to assist on a missing person report at 9:55 p.m. from an address in Lindstrom. The subject is a vulnerable adult who was located and unhurt but transported for a medical check.

August 16

Motorcycle crash reported at Falcon and Athens Trail, Stacy, about 2:30 a.m.  Deputies  found the motorcycle on the road with heavy front end damage and the operator’s helmet was scuffed.  The driver said he saw nothing and doesn’t remember why he crashed.

Three doses of Narcan administered and a subject was resuscitated from an opioid overdose at a residence in Chisago City. The call came in about 3:40 a.m.  The individual was brought to Fairview Lakes for follow-up care.

A woman in Lindstrom reported a call— that had her bank phone number attached to it, informing her there was fraudulent activity on her account and she needed to transfer her cash to another number. which the caller said was requested by the bank.  But the caller was running a scam and when  the complainant checked with her bank was informed the person she spoke to was not legitimate.

A dog bite has resulted in a determination of a “dangerous dog” at an address on Railroad Avenue in Chisago City.

Nuisance properties are being followed up on, located at Palmer Court in Lindstrom and Newport Curve and Madison Road.
