Let’s Go Fishing East Central is honored to have received a $3,352 donation from East Central Energy Be The Light program—an initiative, driven by the generosity of East Central employees. Funds for Be The Light are collected through voluntary payroll deductions and distributed around their service area by employee vote. The donations are centered on one of the coop’s guiding principles, concern for community.

Let’s Go Fishing is a non-profit that takes seniors, veterans, and people living with disabilities on no-cost fishing or boating trips. The East Central Chapter has two accessible pontoons located on Chisago and Rush Lakes. Guests from Chisago, Isanti, Kanabec and Pine County go on trips! Many say it’s the highlight of their summer to be back on the lake.
