Brian Charles Berg, age 83, passed away Saturday, November 29, 2025 at his home in Taylors Falls, MN.

Brian was born in Hutchinson, MN on June 8, 1942 to parents Alton and Verna (Pearson) Berg. He grew up in Taylor’s Falls, MN, graduating from Taylors Falls High School in 1960. He was active in sports and vocal music. He went on to attend one year at Gustavus Adolphus College. In 1965, Brian married Sandra Lucken and to this union, was blessed with two children: Anna Marie and Eric Charles. After the wedding, Brian finished college at St. Cloud State, earning a Bachelor of Science degree. After graduation, Brian moved his growing family to Hudson, WI.

Brian was a proud employee of the Andersen Corporation. Brian was the supervisor in the shipping department for most of his career. He enjoyed the time he spent at the Andersen Corporation and cherished the people he worked with.

After retirement, Brian and Sandra moved back to his hometown and built a house on part of the family homestead. Brian enjoyed the outdoors. He loved watching wildlife, walking the woods around his cabin near Grantsburg, and he especially enjoyed the deer and turkeys in his backyard.

Brian and Sandra were both active members of Mount Zion Lutheran Church in Hudson WI, for many years, raising their children through that congregation. Taylors Falls United Methodist Church in Taylors Falls was Brian’s current congregation.

Brian is preceded in death by his daughter, Anna Marie; parents; brother, Terry; and godchild, Christie Rae Lucken.

Memorials may be sent to the Little Pantry at the Taylors Falls Methodist Church.

Memorial service for Brian will take place at 1 PM Saturday, December 6, 2025 at Grandstrand Funeral Home in Osceola, WI. Visitation one hour prior. Burial at Kahbahkong Cemetery in Taylors Falls, at a later date. Arrangements with Grandstrand Funeral Home of Osceola. Condolences may be expressed online at www.grandstrandfh.com.
