Vickie L Nyberg, born July 12, 1956, in Minneapolis. the daughter to Clayton Nelson and Patricia Sandeen, wife to Bill Nyberg, mother to sons Eric and Brian, passed away on January 27, 2025 after a cancer diagnosis.

Her final moments were spent peacefully in her home in Harris MN, surrounded by family and close friends. Known for her love of her family and friends, spunk, caring nature, and devotion to our Lord Jesus Christ.

Vickie will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Vickie’s family asks that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life not the sadness of her passing. 

She is survived by her husband Bill; son Brian; son Eric and daughter-in law Marie;  grandchildren Alexis, Deven, and Emma, her brothers Rick Nelson and Scott Nelson; nephew Nathan Nelson, his wife Kristi, and children Lucas and DaleLynn; nephew Mickey Nelson; niece Lacey Nelson and children Dayton and Ataviana, aunts, uncles, and several cousins.  

She is preceded in death by her sister Cheryl Ertel, brother Kevin Nelson, mother Patricia Sandeen, and father Clayton Nelson. 

A private ceremony for family and friends is pending at this time.   Flowers and memorial gifts are welcome but not necessary.
