SUMMARY ORDINANCE NO. 2025-2-2
AN ORDINANCE ADDING CHAPTER 97 SPECIAL EVENTS TO THE STACY CITY CODE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, on February 11, 2025 Ordinance No. 2025-2-2 was enacted by the City Council of the City of Stacy, Minnesota.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that, because of the lengthy nature of Ordinance No. 2025-2-2 the following summary of the ordinance has been prepared for publication.

Ordinance No. 2025-2-2 adds Chapter 97 Special Events to the Stacy City Code. The new ordinance allows for special events with a permit and contains permit requirements, instances that do not require an event permit, permit application process and the requirements for issuance of the permit, the review process, including criteria for denial, and other standards for the special event. 

The ordinance also repeals Lent Township Code Chapter 7 regarding Special Events in its entirety.

A printed copy of the whole ordinance is available for inspection by any person during the City’s regular office hours or on the City’s website.
