NOTICE OF FILING DATES FOR AFFDAVITS OF CANDIDACY

Notice is hereby given to the qualified residents of Franconia Township, Minnesota, that the filing period for candidates for the upcoming township election will open on January 21, 2025, at 8:00 a.m. and will close on February 3, 2025, at 5:00 p.m.

Affidavits of candidacy for the following office will be accepted:
• Township Supervisor (one position, 3-year term)

All affidavits of candidacy must be filed with the Franconia Township Clerk at the township office located at 25156 St. Croix Trail North, Shafer, MN 55074.

The final date for a candidate to withdraw an affidavit of candidacy is February 5, 2025, by 5:00 p.m.

In accordance with Minn. Stat. § 205.13, subd. 2, this notice is being posted and published to inform all interested parties. The election will be held on March 11, 2025.
