Chisago Lakes 8, Southwest Christian/Richfield 0
The Wildcat boys’ hockey team scored four times in a five-minute stretch in the first period and went on to shut out the Southwest Christian/Richfield Stars 8-0 Tuesday, January 7 at Richfield Ice Arena. Max Koch, Ben Kerkow, and Max Bobrowski each had three assists for the Wildcats. Jacob Kletti, Austin Slettom, and Landon Kerkow scored two goals apiece. Alex Bever and Bobrowski each scored once. Kletti had two assists to go along with his two goals. And picking up one assist apiece were Colton Whiterabbit, Bever, and Slettom. The Wildcats came bursting out of the gate, outshooting the Star 16-5 in the first period. They went on to have a 34-21 shot advantage for the game. Corbin Shandley stopped all 21 shots he faced to pick up the shutout.
Chisago Lakes 8, Princeton 2
After spotting the Princeton Tigers a goal midway through the first period, the Wildcats scored six straight and crushed the Tigers 8-2 on Thursday, January 9 at Princeton First Bank & Trust Ice Arena. For the second game in a row, three different Wildcats scored two goals apiece. And, for the second game in a row, Max Bobrowski scored the last two goals of the game. Ashton Warnke and Alex Bever were the other two-goal scorers for the Wildcats.
The Wildcats dominated a wide open first period, outshooting Princeton 23-11 and outscoring them 2-1. Princeton turned the tables somewhat in the second period, outshooting the Wildcat 13-8. But goalie Corbin Shandley stopped all 13 shots he faced, and the Wildcats led 4-1 after two. The Wildcats shut down the Tiger offense in the third period, allowing them just three shots and outscoring them 4-1 to make the final score 8-2. The Wildcats outshot Princeton 42-27 for the game.
Landon Kerkow and Quin Ryan each had a goal for the Wildcats. Austin Slettom and Nick Hansen each picked up two assists. And getting one assist apiece were Colton Whiterabbit, Lucas Ide, Max Koch, Alex Bever, Ryan, and Bobrowski.
Chisago Lakes 2, St. Paul Highland Park 2 (OT)
For the third game in a row, Max Bobrowski scored twice as the Wildcats and the St. Paul Highland Park Scots skated to a 2-2 tie Saturday, January 11 at Chisago Lakes High School. The Wildcats outshot the Scots 46-20 for the game, but Highland Park goalie Emory Batt stood on his head, stopping 44 of the 46 shots he faced.
With the Wildcats trailing 1-0, Bobrowski scored a power play goal with just over a minute remaining in the first period to tie the game at 1-1, with Max Koch and Ben Kerkow getting the assists. At 3:42 of the second period, Bobrowski scored another power play goal, with Koch and Kerkow again getting the assists, to give the Wildcats a 2-1 lead. But the Scots tied it up just over a minute later, and the score remained tied through almost two more full periods of hockey plus overtime. Special teams were key for the Wildcats in this game. They scored on two of four power play opportunities and killed off all four Highland Park power plays.

The Wildcats (8-5-2) will head to Moose Sherritt Ice Arena tonight at 7 p.m. to face off against the Monticello Moose. And next Tuesday, January 21 they will play
