The Chisago County Sheriff’s Office, authorities from Polk County Wisconsin and state patrol personnel responded to a two-car crash on Highway 8 just outside of Taylors Falls last Monday, December 30, where two people were killed.  The conditions were wet and foggy as the report of the crash came in about 12:30 that afternoon.  According to the patrol, a Honda Civic going in an easterly direction reportedly crossed the centerline near the Milltown Road intersection, and struck a CX5 heading westbound.

The driver of the Civic Thomas Collins, 59, of Amery, WI and the driver of the Mazda SUV identified as Kim McCoy, 55, from Minneapolis,  died. The SUV passenger, 61-year-old Kimberly Brown was hospitalized.
