July 12 

Sheriff patrol initiated a pursuit when a vehicle driver records search came back as revoked.  Law enforcement tried to stop the vehicle  near Hemingway and Stacy Trail and it fled, and deputies lost sight, ending the pursuit around 7:15 a.m. Later Zimmerman MN authorities arrested the suspect, where he lived, and local prosecutors are following up on the alleged offense.

July 11

A 42 year old female driver was cited for failing to drive with due care when her vehicle and a second collided at County Road 14 and Lake Lane in Lindstrom about 4 p.m.  She was ordered to undergo a medical evaluation. No injuries resulted from the crash.

Authorities suspected impairment of a food truck driver and did a field sobriety test when the truck hit a utility pole in Lindstrom about 1:50 p.m.  Driver, 60, was booked for possible DUI.

July 9

Hay baler equipment caught fire at an address on Ivywood Trail around 4:50 p.m.  Lindstrom Fire Dept. responded and extinguished the fire...

Lakes Area officers called to assist Forest Lake Police in search of a domestic assault suspect, believed to be armed.  The suspect was detained and booked about 9:15 p.m.

July 8

Lakes Area sent to look into a chicken keeping complaint at a property on Lincoln Street Chisago City. Subject found to have violated ordinances and will need to reduce flock to five birds and eliminate the rooster.

A gas line was hit underground on Lofton Avenue. Lindstrom Fire and Xcel dispatched about 9 a.m.
