A report of a gas line hit by streetwork crews in Lindstrom. Xcel notified and buildings near First Avenue and Maple St were emptied for safety. Line attended to and no incident occurred.

May 29

Pursuit ensued in North Branch and  involved area patrol units in the area of Grand Avenue and County Road 14, about 1:26 a.m.  Deputies initiated a traffic stop and the vehicle fled. The pursuit went into the Casselberry neighborhood where the suspect fled on foot.  K9 assisted in tracking and the subject was apprehended inside a home after a search warrant was obtained.

Over the week two Lakeside Elementary students were sent home with parents after an incident with vaping devices. Police were called May 30.
