Three North Branch golfers heading to state meet in Jordan
The North Branch boys golf team finished in second place in Section 6AA, with freshman Nick Melvin finishing in fourth place to earn his third trip to the state meet in as many years. Sophomore Carter Magnison qualified after beating another competitor in a playoff hole. For the girls, Ashley Bistodeau will play in her second state meet after finishing in fifth place. Seventh grader Swayer Peterson narrowly missed out, losing in two playoff holes for the final spot. Both the girls and boys that advanced will tee off at The Ridges at Sand Creek
