Sally Kay Coolidge, August 18, 1944 – June 8, 2025.
Sally, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on June 8, 2025, her 57th wedding anniversary. She was 80 years old.
Born in Portsmouth, Virginia, to Edward and Helen Jankovic, Sally grew up in Owosso, Michigan, and graduated from St. Paul High School in 1962. It was in Michigan, while working at Oldsmobile, that she met the love of her life, Thomas Lee Coolidge. Their marriage was a beautiful partnership filled with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion.
Sally dedicated her early years to raising her three children as a devoted homemaker. Once her children were grown, she began a second career, working at Rueb & Karl Law Office in Burnsville and later at Rancourt Law Office in Lindstrom.
Sally was an avid bridge player and cherished her winters in Mesa, Arizona, where she and Tom spent 25 joyful years and created many lifelong friendships. She also adored lake life, spending over three decades at their lake home in Lindstrom, Minnesota, where family gatherings and peaceful moments by the water brought her great happiness.
Sally faced Parkinson’s disease with quiet strength and grace, never allowing it to define her spirit or diminish her warmth. Her resilience was an inspiration to all who knew her.
Sally is survived by her devoted husband, Thomas; her children Kimberly (Jim) Frederick, Todd (Mary) Coolidge, and Troy (Nicole) Coolidge; her sisters Joanne Grone, Diane Jankovic, and Connie (Terry) Grice; and her treasured grandchildren Allyson and Livia Frederick, Isabelle, Luke, and Cole Coolidge, and Madeline, Thoene, Henry, and Vivienne Coolidge.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Ecumen Hospice, North Branch Team, MN, with special recognition to her compassionate home caregivers—Tina, Danielle, and Lexi—whose care and kindness brought great comfort in her final days.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 20, 2025 at St. Bridget of Sweden Catholic Church located at 13060 Lake Blvd, in Lindstrom, MN. Visitation will be held one hour prior to Mass at church. Interment at Fairview Cemetery in Lindstrom, MN. Arrangements by Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom, MN.
