SHAFER TOWNSHIP
NOTICE OF ANNUAL MEETING AND ELECTION OF OFFICERS

NOTICE is hereby given to the qualified voters of Shafer Township, County of Chisago, State of Minnesota, that the annual election of Town Officers and Annual Town Meeting will be held at the Shafer Town Hall, 18259 St. Croix Trail, Shafer, MN 55072 on Tuesday, March 11, 2025. In case of inclement weather, the Meeting and Election may be postponed until the third Tuesday in March. The election Poll hours will be from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at which time the voters will elect:

One Supervisor – Three year term
Treasurer - Two year term

Township Question
Shall Chisago County be permitted to issue a Sunday sales intoxicating liquor license to establishments within Shafer Township pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 340A.504 Subd. 3(c)?

The Annual Meeting will commence at 8:15 p.m. to conduct all necessary business prescribed by law.

The Board of Canvass will meet immediately after the annual meeting to certify the official election results.
