February 25

Fish house broken into and a vehicle and suspect description were provided to sheriff patrol on East Rush Lake. Theft charges being pursued.

A complaint to Lakes Area Police about excessive odor from dog feces collecting on a neighborhood lot. Piles were observed on site at the Marvin Avenue address and owner was advised to take care of the situation.

February 26

Report of an employee under the influence of alcohol at Taylors Falls School. school officials and Lakes Area Police school officers handled the matter and the employee was cooperative.

Male found asleep about 6 a.m. in Paradise Park. Transported to a Fairview Healthcare site with what appeared to be mild hypothermia. 

Power pole down and damaged on Rushseba Trail. Car in ditch but nobody around.

February 28

Grass fire in Franconia Township, in the area of 260th.  Property owner cited for outdoor burning violation.

March 1

A fish shack went through ice on Goose Lake.  Deputy checked for the occupant and found none, and located the owner to put him in contact with DNR.

A good sized fire observed in the Jeffrey Avenue area, Lakes Area Police checked and there was a burning permit in force.   

March 2

Fawn Lake area debris burn got away from the property owner and a warning ticket was issued. Report was about 3 p.m.

Two vaping tickets issued for devices confiscated at Chisago Lakes High School.
