Gordon Oliver Wendell Meland, left this world peacefully on March 17, 2025, at the age of 93. Born on July 23, 1931, Gordon was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of all who knew him.

Gordon is survived by his beloved wife, Vida, with whom he shared a beautiful life filled with love and laughter. Together, they created a nurturing home for their daughters, Susan (Joel) and Barbara.  Gordon was a proud grandfather to Laurie (Mark), Lisa (Whitney), Tony and Catey (Mike), who brought him immense joy and pride. He cherished every moment spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren Abby, Charley, Sydney, Julian and Eleanor.

Throughout his life, Gordon was known for his unwavering dedication to his family and community. Gordy, as he was known by most, was a pharmacist to the community for over 45 years. He had a remarkable ability to connect with others, always offering a listening ear and a helping hand. 

As we remember Gordy, we celebrate a life well-lived, filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness that will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know him.
