The price of eggs does not seem to be deterring vandalism with eggs at property in Lindstrom. Two reports of eggs hurled at homes on Akerson and Olinda Trail were made March 23.

March 22

The first of the springtime motorcycle crashes reported on Hwy 8 west of 14 in Lindstrom, about 3 p.m.  The operator was up walking when responders were called.

March 21

A drone unit was sent up to aid in locating an individual in the Jewel Lane area of rural Chisago City. The search was ongoing around mid-day.

ATV operations led to complaints in the neighborhood around 284th. There is a 100 foot perimeter that should be maintained around a dwelling that ATVs can not cross. You also should not be running ATVs on county roads.

A student was arrested on an arrest and detain order by probation, at Chisago Lakes Area High School. Taken to the regional juvenile center about 10 a.m.

Nuisance complaints are picking up with warmer weather and snow melt.  Animals are causing issues, including a call to Lakes Area Police about a man with a long gun in a yard in Chisago City. He advised the officer he was awaiting a muskrat and the officer reminded the man there is no discharge of firearms allowed in city limits.
