The North Branch softball team started the year in a tough stretch, going 1-7 with their only win against an out-of-state team from Wisconsin.
But, last week was a remedy for their woes as they swept Zimmerman, Princeton and Monticello in a four day stretch.
The Vikings opened the week with a 14-4 drubbing of Zimmerman on Monday, April 21 before taking out Princeton 4-3 on Tuesday, April 22.
With just one day in between, the Vikings came right back and traveled to Monticello to beat the Magic 7-5.
The three wins moved them to 4-7 on the year. They had another date with Princeton earlier this week and then host Coon Rapids and Hermantown to close the week.
Head Coach Kathy Crudo always has her squad ready come section time, so the three wins a row come as no surprise as the Vikings build towards postseason play.
