CHISAGO LAKES BOND VOTE TUESDAY, MAY 13
Voters who pay property taxes into the Chisago Lakes School District will vote Tuesday, May 13 on a request allowing the district to borrow $63.7 million. Funds will be used for multiple capital projects at the high school, middle school, Primary and Taylors Falls buildings, along with athletic ballfields drainage issues and needed high school grounds grading corrections.
The projects are expected to begin as soon as bids can be distributed and awarded, and should take about three years to complete, if approved.
Tax impacts are dependent on the valuation assigned to your property.
There is a research table accessible on the website with tax information tied to values that you provide. See chisagolakes.referendumfacts.org or go to the district website and find “Bond” in the choices on the main page.
