The Chisago County Historical Society is pleased to report the first annual Spring Tea, held at Lindstrom Community Center, Saturday, May 3, was a “sold-out” crowd of 86 people. They enjoyed tasty food and tea in the beautiful surroundings of 12 creatively designed tables in a wonderfully decorated space. After dessert an “Old and New” fashion show was presented by In the Moment Boutique and CCHS members.
It “takes a village” to do an event like this and CCHS is very thankful to the following:
Table Designers: Betty Hagberg, Carol Hamlin, Cheryl Kempenich, Nancy Klammer, Jana Lensing, Cheryl Newman, Osceola Historical Society, Noel Stensrud, Brandy Timmons and Sharon Tretsven.
Donors: Thrivent, Target, Brinks, Nick and Drews, Lindstrom Flowers, Lindstrom Thrifty White, Cheryl Newman, Nancy Klammer, Swedish Gift Shop, Lindstrom Bakery, Mary Pettis, Dave Shaleen, Details Salon, Deutschland, Boni Stockel, Northwoods Roasterie, Farm and Thread and Ghosts in the Attic.
Volunteers: Judy Chartrand, Natalee Oknich, Cindy Johnson, Madelyn Schauer, Hannah Dauffenbach, Karaigen Jendro, Arild Hagberg, Kate Engels, Keith Parsons, Perry Lindberg, Curt Peters, Neil Gatzow, Chris Timmons, Don Newman, Bob Cedergren, Diane Johnson and Francoise Michno.
