Lakes Area Police aided deputies in apprehending three females believed to have assaulted a fourth female at a township address on East Viking Boulevard. The call came in about 6:45 p.m. The victim was taken to a Wisconsin hospital.  The alleged assailants, ages 55, 26 and 23 were booked.     

May 22

Police are looking into a complaint about a parent who boarded a Chisago Lakes school bus and berated the driver and a paraprofessional with loud aggressive language, while the bus was loaded.

May 21

A vehicle hit and run crash reported on Stacy Trail about 9 a.m. Upon investigation   one car involved was discovered to be reported stolen. The alleged vehicle was found on I-35 after a pursuit. Charges are pending.

May 20

An incident reported by the Chisago Lakes Middle School from a parental complaint alleging a student saw a knife in school that day. Another student reportedly admitted to police he had thrown the knife into a trash bin, where it was recovered.

May 19

An ATM machine was damaged at a bank in Lindstrom, where it was probably being pulled off its foundation and an alarm was going off about 2:15 a.m. Cameras recorded the vehicle involved with attempting to steal the machine and the vehicle was located in Wisconsin abandoned.

Three vape device possessions cited at Chisago Lakes High School over the week.
