November 2 Lakes Area Police and Chisago City Fire Department responded to call of “gas smell” inside an apartment building on Lofton, about 11:50 p.m.  Firefighters ventilated the building and Xcel arrived for assistance. No additional details.

October 30 Lindstrom firefighters went to a call about CO2 detectors going off at a residence on Olinda Trail, about 6 p.m. Issues were found with the devices, people were all out of the building and no injury reported.

A citizen complained of a shed that appeared on a lot on Irene Avenue. The Lakes Area community service officer advised owner the city requires a permit for sheds 200 square feet in size of larger and it must comply with setbacks, etc.  Owner was asked to consult with city.

A trailered pontoon boat overturned at Lincoln Trail and Lofton Ave. about 3:30 p.m.  Lakes Area Police  assisted in righting the boat with help from passers-by and cleared the scene efficiently.
