September 28 There was an aerial hunt using drones approximately 11:30 Sunday night, in and around Center City, as authorities were looking for a domestic assault suspect, who a child called 9-1-1 to report had injured his mom. The suspect drove off from where the call originated in Franconia Township. He was located in the car on Highway 8 westbound and then abandoned the car and fled on foot into the historic neighborhood in Center City.  The alleged assailant was located on a parcel by the lake and arrested on two outstanding warrants. Charges are pending.

An e-bike crash was reported in North Branch about 5:30 p.m. and Lakes Area Police were called out to assist North Branch Fire. The injured party was transported.

A report of a missing child in the area of 404th in North Branch came in about 3:40 p.m. Child was located.

Two vaping citations issued to Chisago Lakes High School students and one at the middle school and another student was videotaped using the vape on a bus.

The portable outhouse in Pumphouse Park in Lindstrom was removed due to vandalism 

September 24 a North Branch resident, age 50,  was reported to have been the driver of a boom truck that state patrol said backed into and fatally injured a 29 year old  road construction worker about 9 a.m. The victim was employed at the mobilized work zone on the southbound lane of I-35 in Burnsville.  The accident involving the 2016 Freightliner 114SD is being investigated by state patrol.
