The project providing reconstruction and a round-about near the library, on CSAH 30 south of Highway 95, in North Branch, is very near completion. The county engineer said lighting and pavement paint are being wrapped up this week. Representatives from the city, Knife River contracting and county gathered for cutting the ribbon on this cooperative project Tuesday. County Commissioner Jim Swenson noted the high number of crashes in this stretch and said the round-about will slow traffic speeds which will reduce accidents. Mayor Schieber said North Branch looks forward to working with partners on another collaborative round-about. project planned for County Road 14 at Hemingway
