The Wyoming Library has a new look entering its 20th year as a branch of the East Central Regional system. Local Eagle Scout candidate Nick F. Fuhol and Wyoming area Scout Troop 9142 reinvigorated the library’s grounds, cleaning out the rain garden and its walkways and rebuilding the benches. The projects were installed 15 years ago by the Scouts and current librarian Francie Sczepanski was thrilled to see this work done. She stated, “At each stage of the projects in and around the library people commented on how much better the rain gardens look.” Her hope is this helps create a sense of ownership in the community and inspires new generations to come “checkout” the library and what it has to offer.
