October 16

Authorities arrested a 21 year old male, no address, after being called to a domestic assault in Chisago City, about 9:30 p.m. The responding Lakes Area officers were assisted by Wyoming. North Branch, state patrol. and sheriff deputies in locating the subject.

A football player at a junior varsity game against Zimmerman, at Chisago Lakes high school field, was injured in a game around mid-day and transported by ambulance. No word on condition.

October 15

A Franconia Township house fire was reported on 260th about 20 minutes past midnight.  No injuries. Three area departments were dispatched.

October 14

A dryer ignited at a home on Jason Avenue in Chisago City, and flames travelled to the attic.  The fire department was called about 3:30 a.m.

Multiple complaints of abandoned vehicles and debris accumulating at addresses in Lindstrom on Peninsula Ave and Akerson Court, which were documented and cases opened.

A student at the Chisago Lakes Middle School possessed a knife. A parent was called and police were involved and the school was to handle consequences.

Brinks Market had two shoplifting incidents last week,  recorded by video and the offenders were processed and trespassed from the business by Lakes Area.
