August 31 Lakes Area Police took a report of a burn pile complaint in an area near Iris Avenue, about 8 p.m. The property had no burn permit and fire was ordered to be put out.

A pursuit ensued of a fleeing vehicle in the Viking Blvd. and Highway 8 area based on a complaint about the driver behavior. The female suspect swerved and went off the road in the chase and was transported to Regions.

Lakes Area took two reports of stolen bikes.

August 30 the county patrol cars were informed a male did not arrive at his pickup spot on the St Croix River and by 5:44 p.m. he was reported missing. Several units began a search but the county soon got a call the male had been spotted and was safe.

August 29 Burned food was the cause of a false alarm sounding at an address in Sportsmans Drive in Chisago City, about 4:45 p.m.  No injury reported.

A three vehicle crash happened at Deer Garden Lane and Highway 8 in Chisago City, called in about 2 p.m.  State Patrol was not done with reports.

Another crash reported August 25 about 9:50 a.m. on Highway 8 at Hamlet in Wyoming. State Patrol had no details available.
