September 13 Sheriff patrol was dispatched to a “t-bone” crash near South Fairfield and West Fourth Street in Rush City, about 11:20 a.m. Minor injuries reported, the preliminary investigation is going to be sent to the county attorney for possible charges.

Lakes Area Police are looking into a report of an assault of a female, who had been talking with one of two suspects in her Nathan Court Lindstrom yard prior to the incident about 8:50 p.m. A 21 year old male was arrested.

September 10 A pursuit was initiated when a suspect car fled the area of Anchor Avenue and 470th in Nessel Township. Called in as a car theft from a Rush Point Dr address,  and responding law enforcement matched this vehicle description to the report. A 43 year old female was subsequently stopped. Burglary and theft and fleeing charges are pending.

A property on Wyoming Trail was the scene of theft from a garage of numerous items, no list in the report.

September 9

A juvenile was cited after an incident at Chisago Lakes High School. Staff reported an altercation tied to rumors being spread and an argument ensued. Lakes Area Police issued the ticket on the offense.
