Almelund hosted the annual Apple Festival Sunday.  People were treated to all things apple, including hundreds of desserts and the Lions worked the grill.  Children had fun taking a step back in time learning various chores.  There were free Model T rides and a petting zoo with goats.  Music and cloggers also entertained visitors during the event based at the Heritage Museum.
