August 23 A toddler was reported unresponsive at an address in the township, north of Center City, about 5:37 p.m.  Caller said the girl had been found in a pool. Deputies administered CPR and the 3 year old regained consciousness and was taken for medical care. No official update was available by print deadline but air transport was called off to the scene, and reportedly a close-by hospital was utilized compared to a higher level trauma center. 

A male subject sought by authorities, who was linked to a vehicle displaying the wrong license plates was located in a structure in downtown Shafer and the K9 unit was deployed to assist in flushing him out.  The incident was about 7:20 p.m. The suspect was then arrested on multiple warrants.

August 16 Lakes Area Police took a report of a vehicle sustaining damage when hit by an E bike that ran a stop sign at Newell and Maple Streets.  The complainant said two middle-school aged youths were on the bike and fled. The incident happened at about noon.
